SRI AGORESHWARA TEMPLE-IKKERI

Aghoreshwara temple popularly known as Ikkeri temple is often visited with its twin temple Keladi. These two temples are the perfect testimony to the Nayaks and their passion for the finest craftsmanship and architecture.

JOG FALLS

Jog Falls is a waterfall on the Sharavati river located in the Western Ghats running between Uttara Kannada and Shimoga districts of Karnataka, India. It is the third highest plunge waterfall in India.It is a segmented waterfall which depends on rain and season to become a plunge waterfall.

SRI PADMAVATHI TEMPLE-VADANBAILU

Sri Kshetra Siddasiri Vadanabylu is originated by Sri Mahamathe Padmavathi Ammanavaru.This temple is situated nearby to the region of Jogfalls.This originality is constituted by Huttha Padmavathi, Bale Padmavathi and Chaturmukha Padmavathi.

BEEMESHWARA

Bheemwshwara is a small village on Kargal-Bhatkala road.It is gaining popularity due to ancient Shiva temple located inside the cave.As per legend,Pandavas built the Shiva linga during their vanavas.There is also a waterfall near the temple popularlt known as Bheemeshwara Falls.

SIGANDURU

Sri Sigandur Chowdeshwari is considered one of the holiest temple towns in Hinduism. The main attraction of the town is the temple of Sri Chowdeshwari Devi. Shri Kshetra is located on the banks of Sharavati River, Sigandur temple draws devotees from all over the state.The launch which carries people and vehicles from one end to the other is also precious.

VARADAMOOLA

This is the birth place of river varada which is tributary of river Tungabhadra and it is near to Sagara on the way to Ikkeri .Here we can see a pond and there is a temple of Goddess varadadevi infront of the Pond. Pushkarini or small water bodies located within the temple premises reflect ancient purity of culture, devotion and prayer.

SRI MARIKAMBA TEMPLE

The Marikamba Temple is located in Sagara in the Shimoga district in the Indian state of Karnataka. It features the image of the goddess Marikamba Devi, a form of Durga or Parvati. The temple was built in the center of the city during the reign of Venkatappa Nayaka who ruled over Keladi and Ikkeri kingdom during the 16th century.

SRI RAMESHWARA TEMPLE-KELADI

Rameshwara Temple, Keladi was once the capital of the Keladi rulers (or Nayakas), a feudatory of Vijayanagara Empire. Constructed in the Hoysala-Dravida style, the temple is magnificent with a number of unique features.
